3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS ESTETIC SENARU TREKKING PACKAGE
Check-In Senaru | Check-Out Sembalun
Route: Senaru Gate → Senaru Crater Rim → Hot Spring & Segaranak Lake → Sembalun Crate Rim → Summit → Sembalun Village
Day 0 – Arrival & Briefing (Pre-Trek)
Upon arrival in Lombok (by ferry or flight), our driver will pick you up and transfer you to our office and accommodation in Senaru. You will spend the night here before your trek. In the evening, our team will provide a short briefing about the hike, safety procedures, and trip preparation.
Important Notice:
We strongly recommend arriving in Senaru at least one day before your trek to ensure you are well-rested and to avoid delays. Starting the trek immediately upon arrival is possible, but it carries risks of feeling rushed or forgetting important items.
Day 1 – Senaru Gate → Crater Rim Senaru
(Green Forest Exploration • Fresh Air • Aesthetic Adventure)
1. 07:00 AM – Begin at Senaru Basecamp, then transfer by vehicle (15 minutes) to Senaru Gate (700m).
2. Trek to Post 1 (30 minutes) for a short break with water and biscuits.
3. Continue to the Extra Post (1 hour), then trek another 2 hours to Post 2.
4. At Post 2, enjoy a long rest (approx. 1 hour) and lunch freshly prepared by our team.
5. Resume trekking for 2 hours to Post 3, followed by another 2.5-hour climb to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m).
Here, the rainforest ends and the trail opens into breathtaking views. Upon arrival, relax at the campsite while our guide and porters prepare dinner. Fall asleep under the stars beside the crater rim.
Day 2 – Crater Rim → Segara Anak Lake → Hot Springs → Next Campsite
1. Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the caldera, followed by breakfast.
2. 07:00 AM – Begin the descent to Segara Anak Lake (approx. 3 hours).
3. Upon arrival, refresh yourself in the natural hot springs, a perfect recovery for tired muscles.
4. Return to the lakeshore for lunch prepared by the porters.
5. Continue trekking for approximately 3 hours to the next campsite.
Arrive at the campsite where tents are already set up by rinjanimssion team. Spend the evening enjoying the serene mountain views, followed by dinner before sunset.
Day 3 – Summit Ascent → Sembalun → Return to Senaru
1. 02:00 AM – Wake up for a light breakfast (bread + coffee/tea).
2. 02:30 AM – Begin the summit push (3,726m):
3. First hour: soft volcanic sand.
4. Second hour: firmer sand terrain.
5. Final hour: the most challenging section—steep, slippery gravel (two steps forward, one step back).
6. 06:15–06:30 AM – Reach the summit of Mount Rinjani, and witness the spectacular sunrise with panoramic views over Lombok, Bali, and Sumbawa.
7. Descend back to the campsite (1.5 hours) for a second breakfast.
8. Begin the final descent (approx. 5 hours) through the open savanna, with a lunch stop at Post 2, before trekking 2 more hours to Sembalun Village (1,150m) for check-out.
9. Post-trek, we’ll transport you back to Cafe Opik for a well-earned shower, cold drinks, and your onward transfer.
Why Start in Senaru and Finish in Sembalun?
1. Choosing this route is not only more scenic but also strategically better for stamina:
2. Day 1 (Senaru route): Shaded rainforest provides cooler air, protecting trekkers from exhaustion and dehydration.
3. Day 1 (Sembalun route): Open savanna with no shade quickly dehydrates trekkers, draining energy early. Many climbers who start in Sembalun are too exhausted after the summit to continue as planned.
Based on experience, the Senaru-to-Sembalun route offers a smoother acclimatization process and a 100% higher chance of completing the 3-day trek comfortably.STANDARD RINJANI TREKKING PRICE AND SERVICE
